A Call to Intentional Living
As I journaled this morning, the date reminded me that the first half of 2023 is gone, never to return. It hit me hard that we waste so much time when we lack intention in how we spend it. Just like with money, energy, relationships, and opportunities, setting intentions is vital for making the most of our time.
The Bible teaches us that God is our Redeemer, and with His infinite wisdom, we can redeem our time and resources when we partner with intention. It's not just about divine intervention; we must also play our part in the process. We can't move forward if we keep starting over and going backward instead of forward.
To get the train moving in our favor, we must first know ourselves. Understanding our unique wiring, desires, and needs empowers us to walk in our purpose. Falling in love with ourselves, not in a vain way, but with genuine affection and appreciation, leads to grace and self-support.
Our existence is intentional; we were created for a purpose. We are extraordinary beings, as unique as our DNA and thumbprints. But to make our blip on the radar of this world brighter, we must become intentional about our journey. It starts with spiritual and mental awareness, knowing who we are, who we need to become, and where we're meant to go.
Let's break free from living a scripted life and embrace intentional living. We deserve more than simply going through the motions. Start the process of discovery, alignment, and purpose, and refuse to settle for anything less than the best life designed for you.
