I started my journey towards nurturing my physical health ten years ago after loosing my mom suddenly. I became acutely aware of the precious gift that is life, and my own inner strength. My mom’s passing came at a very stressful time in my life, with work and family. On a visit to my doctor, she strongly recommended I take better care of my physical health. I heard her loud and clear. I made a commitment to myself to start focusing on nourishing my body and moving naturally my adding walking to my daily routine.

This greatly enhanced my energy level.

Which is one of the most immediate benefits of prioritizing physical health, it gives a surge in energy levels. When our bodies are nourished, active, and well-rested, we experience a newfound vitality that infuses every aspect of our lives. Whether it’s pursuing a passion project, excelling at work, or simply enjoying quality time with loved ones, increased energy empowers us to approach life with enthusiasm and vigor. I found myself signing up for 5k’s every other month.

A healthy body also contributes to improved mental clarity and cognitive function. By fueling our brains with nutritious foods, regular exercise, and adequate sleep, we sharpen our focus, enhance our problem-solving abilities, and make better decisions. This mental sharpness not only boosts our productivity and performance but also strengthens our resilience in the face of challenges.
